POETA Youth Program Manager,  Asha Williams, will represent the Trust for the Americas and the POETA Youth program at the upcoming NMC World Youth Meeting for a Sustainable Future which takes place in Bari, Italy from January 19-21, 2010. The event is organized by the Italian Government, the Apulia Regional Government the National Agency for Youth in Italy of the European Youth in Action Program, the Inter-American Development Bank, ILO, UNESCO and UN-HABITAT among others. The meeting will bring over a thousand young people to discuss the challenges of sustainable environmental, social and economic development at both local and global level with thought leaders from a range of cultural backgrounds and experience.
